Some CBD Companies Are Not Like Others.

Recently, news stations in New York and Florida exposed multiple CBD companies for marketing that their products contain much higher levels of CBD than they actually do.
At Grassroots Harvest, we pride ourselves in making the best quality CBD products that we can. No exceptions. So, we’re excited to see companies that cut edges and market dishonestly being called out for it.

These news stations took matters into their own hands, and conducted their own third-party testing on multiple CBD products from a few different brands, in order to see if these companies were actually selling what they claim to be.
The results were shocking.
Less than half of the products sampled actually contained the amount of CBD they claimed to. Of those, most contained less than half of the amount of CBD marketed. One brand of gummies, Dani’s Dollhouse, contained absolutely no CBD in any of the samples taken.
Even worse?
One of the brands of CBD tested, Lazarus Naturals, was found to have 4x the amount of lead deemed safe. At those levels, the product could potentially be harmful to children. Another brand, CBDistillery, was found to contain unsafe levels of pesticide.
These are the true problems in the world of CBD. Because there are so few regulations, it’s up to companies to 1. Market honestly, and 2. Make safe products. From these articles, it’s clear that not all CBD companies are following through on this.
That’s why it is so important to buy CBD from a reputable brand, because the difference in quality can be astounding. How do you know if a brand is reputable? You’ll see the amount of CBD and other cannabinoids found in each product listed in a graph. Our 150mg and 350mg CBD Oils are made with CBD isolate, so CBD is the only compound found, whereas our 1500mg CBD Oil is made with full-spectrum CBD, so trace amounts of other compounds, like CBC and THC are present. The legal limit for THC is .3%, you’ll see that our 1500mg CBD Oil tests at .16% THC, well below federal requirements.
It’s time to weed out the bad seeds. It’s time for dishonest CBD companies to get called out, and thrown out.
